| The diagram above indicates the basic construction of this separator-filter. It consists of a heavy round base(1) with a filter screen(2) and base pan(3) which rests on supporting springs(4). The base pan has an outlet(5) for particles smaller than the specificed screen size, while the upper tray(6) has an outlet on the other size(7) for particles larger than the screen size. The base holder, upper holde rand screen are all held in place by the adjustable collar(8). A special vibrating motor(9) is located inside the basepan. Balance arms(10,11) on the top and bottom of the motor help to stabilize it through the action of rotating weights. |
