Description : This course is about caring for others, and helps not only for scuba diving, but is very useful for outside the diving industry. Although many divers enrol, so that they can take the PADI Rescue Diver course, this course gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies.
During this course you will learn about the primary and secondary care of a patients life line. BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breathing at the layperson level, AED (automated external defibrillator), preventing and caring for shock, spinal injury management, use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risk, basic first aid and first aid kit considerations.
There is no minimum age requirement, and NO diver certification needed.
Course Structure
This is a one day course, and consists of the primary care course 8 skills, and secondary care course 4 skills.
Course Includes
PADI Emergency First Response manual, EFR certification, Instructor fees, equipment rental (mannequin and AED), hotel transfer within city area, and lunch.
