Description : Food Safety Management Systems
The international standard defines requirements which enables an organisation to guarantee the food safety on all levels of the food chain up to the final usage.
The requirements of ISO 9001:2000 have been accounted for within the ISO 22000. Therefore, an existing management system according to ISO 9001:2000 can be either supplemented with the requirements of ISO 22000 or can be certified as an independent system according to ISO 22000. With this standard, the requirements of BRC and IFS are fully covered.
